How to purchase a property in Spain and Costa del Sol
Payable directly to the developer when signing a RESERVATIONS CONTRACT.
The amount oscillates in between 6.000-10.000€ depending the conditions of each developer.
In some cases the reservations fee or deposit is higher if the property purchased is of considerable value.
Once the building licence has been granted and bank guarantees been issued the actual purchase contract is signed in between the parties.
It is advisable to sign a power of attorney to your lawyer so that he or she can do all paper works and signing of contract on your behalf – this is especially advisable if you do not live in a near distance to southern Spain.
